TOOLS YOU WILL NEED
In order to install Garbaruk XD-compatible cassette (11/12-speed), you will need:
- A torque wrench
- Cassette lockring tool. If you're not sure which one to get, we commend using ParkTool FR5.2
- Low-strength threadlocker
STEP 1: Prepare for cassette installation
Before installing Garbaruk cassette, clean the freehub body from dust and mud.
STEP 2: Mount Garbaruk cassette
Apply threadlocker to cassette threads and mount the cassette onto the freehub body.
Make sure to align the cassette splines with freehub body splines correctly.
STEP 3: Tighten Garbaruk cassette lockring
Using a torque wrench with cassette lockring tool, tighten the cassette lockring to 45Nm (until you hear a click).
CASSETTE INSTALLATION IS FINISHED
After going through all the steps above, the cassette is installed and ready for operation.
